Iam planning on purchasing a 002R here in the next couple of months. And was wondering what the word was on these systems.

Suppose I was using a Delta 1010 with Cubase to do my recording. What I want to do is send tracks to an outboard effects rack. Can this be accomplished with just the 1010 and Cubase or do I need a mixer for this?

allright. I'm jusrt kinda confused on the mbox to what is the input playback knob. i mean, i can work with it to get the volume i need, but I'm not sure to WHAt it is actually doing.. ya dumb i know. help?

Hi all...I just put a project studio together and it's not quite complete but it is in the stage that I can get to work IF I knew what the heck I was doing.

Brief rundown.

I am playing a 2-headed cylindrical indian hand drum called a pakhawaj. The skins are weighted with the "black spot" like a tabla. I am self taught, and play this instrument using fingering techniques that are more related to another south indian drum called a mridangam. The sound can be much more weighty than a tabla and has a really nice warm sound to it.

Iwant to buy a condensor vocal mike but can only afford 200 - $300 can anyone tell which mike will give me the best bang for the buck, I will be runnin it into a eurorack mx602a into a Roland VS 1680 I will be doing mostly rock vocals and am new to this,the help would be highly appreciated.

I am trying to get this thing to record, inputs are good (levels) moving output to board is good I can hear it. When I hit the record button seems to be recording, but I don't get anything on playback, no meters or sound. Seems that nothing is going to the tape.

I'm currently mixing a rock'n'roll band demo and was wondering about the levels of different instruments before the mastering...
Should drums be very loud compared to the rest ?
Should voice feet in the mix but not clearly as loud as I hope it to be on the final product ?
