Noisy Input Device Chain
Well...
The new PC (Dell 8250) is set up, SONAR 2.2 & WaveLab 4.0 installed; & the OS (XP) is optimized for digital audio multitracking.
The new Audio Interface (LynxTWO) sounds incredible; & it has such a high quality analog front end that it picked up a problem with my input device chain I never knew I had.

Noisy amps
I'm recording a marshall stack with a decent condensor mic direct into a edirol sound card. Sounds great, except for the obnoxious constant fuzz coming from the dang amp.
Any ideas for reducing the fuzz noise from semi-noisy to noisy amps when recording?

cheap condenser mike for noisy recording area?
I have a small digital audio workstation (a Zoom MRS 1044) that I use for recording my acoustic pop songs for demos. I presently use stage mikes (Shure 57/58) and a cheap Sony electret condenser. I actually get a decent sound, but I'm thinking I could improve by getting an inexpensive condenser mike (under $150--after all, the rest of my system's pretty modest).
noisy plextor!
Hey ANUS Heads!
I got my Australian ANUS going (with XP Pro). Bloody beauty mate! Have not rigged up the Tascam US428 yet but that is on the agenda. Picked up a RODE condenser mic yesterday! However. the PLEXTOR burner sounds like a 747 on take-off. Not an issue as such but it is incredibly annoying. Any ideas for muffling this noise?

noisy recordings from computer
how can I reduce the noise caused [internally] by the computer? I know it's not the room or nothing because if I plugin some headphones and turn the volume all the way up [without playing anything] I can hear the noise. I'm trying to record some vocals through the mic-in jack.

Mackie 32/8 noisy
Hello guys, I'm working on a studio and I noticed that the control room has a loud ground noise... even with all the faders down. Doing some tests I figured that the noise is coming more from the mix b section and the buses.
