I have a technical question for you. I would like to ask what topology you used for the output stage of your preamp and why. SRPP, White cathode follower or other?
Every topology has its pros and cons so if it's possible I would like to know your philosophy.

When recording a source I'm constantly trying to figure out how to get the maximum sound level before overdriving my pre. For instance when I stick my u195 in front of my plexi cabinet, I fool with my pre for hours trying to get a good balance between my output gain and input sensitivity. Where's a good starting point?

Several months ago, I purchased the PreSonus Digimax 8-channel preamp. I am pretty thrilled with the results, however...I spent a fortune ($1,600+ US). Now I hear that PreSonus had released the Digimax LT with very similar features for around $800. The main differences revolve around the digital outs.

I coulda sworn I saw a post on here recently about changing the resistor values on the outputs of the Lucid GENx6 wordclock generator, in order to allow it to drive a Waves L2. Something about the L2's WC input requiring a higher peak-to-peak voltage than other gear.

Does anyone know the specifics of this resistor mod? I can't find it anywhere for the life of me.

Here's the scenario:
I'm running my mic preamp straight into my recorder
currently. I would like to split
the signal from the mic preamp and send the
additional output to my mixer so I can insert
into the mix bus for headphone distribution.

I finally figured out how to program presets in this thing. I still can't figure out how to send different voices to different outputs. I aseume it's done in MIDI; any advice? Or, failing that, I'd love a pointer on where to take this question...
