Hi all,
Worked out a system for use in a church with a hall size of about 20 metres x 30 metres x 15 metres high. It will currently only have 100-200 congregations. Would like comments or feedback if possible :)

PA system for a church
Forums
Hi all,
I am looking at setting the sound system for a church. The size of the hall is not big, probably looking at an area (rectangular) of around 450 and can accomodate more than 300 but on average 100-150 people.
Church will have their own choir/band (singers, guitar, keyboard etc).

PA System
Forums
Newbie here looking for some suggestions on a very simple setup (compared to what I see in many of the threads here). I need a simple PA system to handle presentations given in small venues (up to 150 people). I saw a recommendation to get the book "Guide to sound systems for worship" and I'll definitely do that.

PA System Suggestions for small venue / coffee house
Forums
I am getting older and find myself leaving the bar/club scene, and leaving the full band behind. I have been doing more and more acoustic sets as of late and the old PA system has about had it!
I am looking to upgrade everything starting with speakers first.
I think powered is the way to go just for simplicity reasons, and have been leaning towards the Mackies or JBLs
4-speaker PA system ... quadrophic controls?
Forums
Imagine having a PA with a speaker in each corner. Obviously the main L and R, but also a speaker in the back L and the back R.
Similar to the quadrophonic style home-theatre from a few decades ago,but for live use.
What would it take to be able to move sound from one speaker to another?

Matching speaker brands on a PA system
Forums
I am a drummer with an electronic kit and am looking for a PA to use for my drums and the rest of the band. I am considering a Bag End P-S18E-I powered subwoofer. My question relates to the speakers. Is it recommended to use the same brand on top? Will there be time-align problems and if so, how do I correct them? Will any brand give good results?
