Thoughts on mixing in Pro Tools

Hey everyone, new ot the site (recomended by joe lambert) and I wanted to hear everyones opinion on mixing within pro tools. I have had countless discussions on what is the best way to "finish" your mix (i.e bounce to disk, mix to DAt, analog tape) I have heard some grumblings about the conversion process that bouncing to disk does. Anyway, any feelings?

Hey guys can anyone explain to me why Pro Tools le 6.4 cost so much.

and where can I find it for a reasonible price? I have seen product on ebay and it states on can work with Digidesign hardware. will it not work at all or what will happen?

M-Audio Radium 49 and Pro Tools

Hi everyone,

I recently converted from Cubase over to Pro Tools LE. I own a M-Audio Radium USB Keyboard, it ahs 8 sliders and 8 knobs, I was wondering if there was anyway to get Pro Tools to recognize it to be used as a controller, and use them to control faders? Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

starting up pro tools

When I start a new session in pro tools 6.2.2, it tells me that the session must be in an 'audio record volume' and won't let me create the session or add any recordable tracks to an existing session. This has never happened before and I have recorded many sessions without doing anything different than I am now.
