A/B -ing in Pro Tools
Does anyone here have a good technique for A/B-ing in Pro Tools? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have been recording on and off for a few years and havent really been looking to upgrade until now.
I know some that has a pro tools CD, could i use the software going from mixer so sound card to pc, or do i have to have the interface and plugins etc. The guy that has it says he doesnt have the interface or anything but disc, did i hear him wrong?
Hi have a small home studio that gives me great results. Folks that I record says the music sounds very professional and are very happy with the results.
New folks that I come across interested in recording invariably ask if you have Pro Tools as if nothing else will work.
Hi,
I've got a click track going, but it does not play the click track for 2 bars before it starts to record. As soon as I hit spacebar to begin the recording, the actual recording begins (instead of waiting the 2 bars so that I can get ready).
I run a Pro Tools LE setup on Mac OS X, and just upgraded to the lastest version; I believe it's 6.4. Now, when I reopen a session that was worked on after the upgrade, it gives me this message at startup:
"Some regions were removed from the Timeline or Region List because they referred to files which are too short."
Hi,
http://www.emu.com says
The E-MU® 1212M Digital Audio System delivers everything you need to produce audio on a PC with professional results - 24-bit/192kHz converters (the same A/D converters used in Digidesign®'s flagship Pro Tools® HD 192 I/O interface),
Any suggestions on the best way to sync up my Uptown Automation system with Pro Tools HD?
Currently we are running MIDI out of the Uptown PC to a Unitor into PTools. Operation is hit or miss.
One option is the Digi SYNC I/O. I guess another would be a sync box with word clock out. (like aardsync)

Hello all,
I don't want to start a debate here... but, after lots of consideration it is down to these two.
1, digi 002-r
2, RME+ Samplitude
I am looking for a reliable system that will let me WORK and not fuss. I plan on using a PC athlon 64
I'm foraying into the digi world now and have just about everything working but one thing. I'm hoping someone here may be able to point me in the right direction.
