What's up, I am almost finished recording my rap album in Pro Tools LE with the standard plugins that came with it. I am now trying to mix down my recordings. I have my track faders where I want them, and now I just want to mix it down. I know that I am supposed to make the master fader's indicator jump and high as it can without clipping, right?

I'm new to Pro Tools but have used my AW4416 for some time now.

All of my recording is done at home. usually with me on all tracks.

I've read a bit about Pro Tools...

My question is two part.

I'm in a bind, and figure there's some smarties on here who have recording experience and can perhaps work me through this issue.

well i finally got this great program working.
but now when i use this in conjunction with pro tools it lags and is very choppy.

i am using a powerbook G4 1 ghz. 512 ram.
m-audio radium midi keyboard. brand new.
pro tools 6.4 for osx.

if i max my ram to a gig will this help the problem?

has anyone else experienced this problem?

i'm having a hard time figuring this out.
i'm simply trying to load up battery as a plugin in Pro Tools and be able to use my midi keyboard to trigger the samples.

need an experinced indivisual to explain how to achieve tranfering a omf from a pc nuendo to pro tools . tell me how you can do this :-?

I have been using PT LE 6.2.1 on my g4 dual for the last 10mths. Well when it works it's great, when it starts acting up, Im at a loss. My MAC troubleshooting skills suck and besides frequently visiting the DUC forum for advice. My setup has pissed me off. I just us it to mix and recording my own projects (at home). So if I go with a Roland are my cpu crashing days over?

Im new to the board, but ran into a consistant problem today the last couple of days. I've been using a G4 dual processsor OS X 10.2.8, Mbox w/PT LE 6.2.1 for the last year. Well It started crashing at the start up of the PT launch program. (the unexpected quit msg) I trashed all the preferences and just about everything Digidesign forums says to do.

Please help me to get a serial number for the demo of translator for pro tool software for pc :roll:

I don't know if this qualifies as gear, but I suppose it would. Anyone know where to get good cheap RTAS plugins? All the ones I see are expensive.
