I've just finished and uploaded the video of the penultimate song and video from my upcoming album. This track has been in the works for the past three to four months. In that time I've survived getting the dreaded Covid amongst other things.

This one is a song Ben had posted looking for help not too long ago. This is the collaborative results we came up with.

Give it a listen please. Throw it up on the analyzers. The more environments it gets a listen in the better.

Hi all, It's been quite a while. I've been messing around with a few things and have stayed ITB ...even using all VSTI for drums, guitar, and bass. I picked up the Weiss Complete plugin package, and it has turned around my beliefs on mastering needing to be done all OTB. So far I'm not looking back either.

If anyone cares to listen. Engineered, produced an mixed this three piece last summer. Had some challenges with this project. Be cool to hear what you all think.

Many moons ago, I won a contest from recording.org for a copy of Sonar 8.5 Producer's edition. I have been happily running the software on a Windows 7 desktop.

That machine has gone on to a better place so now I am putting together a new desktop. I am looking into running a Linux system (but may just do a dual OS install for audio).

Ok it asks for a sign in (first name and email) but otherwise it's free !
But for those who want to practice mixing but may not have the recording part perfect yet,
why not download well recording tracks and practice..

What are your fav mics ever?

At the 48 second mark there are 4 chords descending in pitch right before the main guitar comes in - I'm trying to figure out (reasonably close) how they accomplished that sound with the bass. Is it all keys? Any Ideas/Stabs at this?
