Mastering and reel to reel

Hi, I'm thinking of running my mixes through a reel tape recorder to get that analog feel in them. I just don't have a clue about which one to get or anything like that. Is there a particular recorder that people use for this sort of stuff, or does it even matter a lot? I got some advice to get this atr guy but he's like a gagillion dollars. Any advice would be helpful.

"Slowing Down Tape" Effect on a Revox B77

Hey guys, I've got a vocal clip and I need to slow the tail end of the clip down. Is this possible on a Revox b77, and what is the safest way to do it? Is it safe to turn the tape while the clip is recording from an external CD player? The plan is to get the track back into a DAW to edit. Let me know!

Please assist with figuring out how to charge (and suggestions on the amount to charge) an aquaintance to digitize his box of about 71 reel to reels of people giving talks at religious conferences back in the '70's (more info. below)

Reel To Reel Servicing

I'm in the process of refurbising my Pioneer RT-909 Reel to Reel tape deck, either myself, from the service manual, or maybe I'll ship it out to an experienced technician who is familiar with this unit, but have searched and searched and Googled to no avail for a Service facility.

Anyone know where I can find a reputable outfit to calibrate and tune up my Pioneer 909 ?

TIA,

x
