reverse reverb for the snare...

k... i was always wondering how to get that "whip crack" reverse buildup technique for the snare drum, like they used in 80's rock songs. Well, after experimenting for a bit i have it pretty much down. This is has probably been discussed previously, and I'm not sure how most people have accomplished it, so i apologize in advance, but this is the most logical method I could think of:

reverse

how?, in Cubase how do i get a revearse sound similar to hendrix etc. i can do this by right hand clicking on the track and selecting process and than reverse. but by doing this it causes the track to be played backwards (not exactly what i need for chords), unlike some delay pedals where the sound somehow gets reversed as you play.

Auto-Reverse on R2R deck, not!

I'm in the process of refurbishing a Pioneer RT-909 that's in very good condition overall, however I just tried using the foil stick-on tape which you apply to the magnetic recording side of the 1/4" tape at the point where you want the R2R to reverse direction.

But, not working.

I cleaned the roller sensor but still no go.

Any suggestions?

no phase reverse switch on my mixer sugestions plz

hi,
this is a follow on the mid side recording question. I have no mid side button on my Behringer mixer are there any alternatives ? I have a splitter in my patchbayrack and so it's just the reverse phase to deal ... would it work if I rewire a cable wrong for 1 side of the stereo image ?

merry xmas and thanks for your time again

Phase reverse box that's cheap but decent needed for.

The Firepod doesn't have phase reverse, so I'm wondering if anyone knows of a small phase reverse box that will fit into the chain between the mics and the Pod. At the moment I'm using phase reverse 'after' recording, but for headphone mixes and convenience, I really want to get it reversed before it gets recorded.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
