I dont think ill need a Mixer, but i know i migth need a patchbay, racksystems, preamps,mics, cables a new computer with perhaps Pro Tools digi002 rack(not sure about this one yet)...

Hey everyone, I am new to the forum and am looking for some opinions on studio subs. I currently own a pair of KRK V6s and am very pleased with them. I recently decided that a sub would help me with monitoring. I am big into reggae, and the bass is a crucial part of the mix. I have a very basic setup (Zoom MRS802B, RODE NT1, various acoustic, electric & bass guitars). .

I can play basic piano, and am now looking to record some keyboard parts (strings etc) into my songs. I have no idea about MIDI, sequencing, plugins and so on.

Ok, after reading a lot of posts about people asking "should I buy this?" or "what should I get next?", the firsts responses are usually asking what do YOU want to record? What do YOU want to do with this.. so, I'm going to get that out of the way right now:

I want a different shock mount for my Studio Projects C mic. The one it came with BLOWS. The bands always are coming loose.

Any suggestions?
