Anybody mod the Studio Projects VTB-1?
I was wondering if there was anything i could about swapping out, like op amps/tubes/transformers, to get even more out of this preamp. Maybe use Burr Browns and Jensens. Possibley swap the Tube for a Mullard or something. If so do you know the part/model numbers? How benificial has your mod been?

I would like to know any tips or hints that has helped the more experienced people. I have a question I would like to put 4 windows in my main band room how much will the sound come through? I will put double glass etc.
Does anyone know if the studio edition comes with any effects? I don't want to spend $599 on the producer edition because I don't need all the surround effects and gadgets, but I don't know if the studio edition has anything because all of the descriptions seem to have a way of beating around the bush of what is and isn't included.
Is it possible to open up a new section that is dedicated to pictures of studios? I saw in another thread people asking for pics of Kurts studio... Not only would I like to see his studio, but everyone else who has some pics handy. Or maybe we could just start posting pics in this thread, i dunno.
In the market for recording software, but don't want to pay the bucks for Producer Edition. I have read through the product description and several reviews of the software. Does the SE version have the ability to compress the recording of vocals or other instruments? The other PE-only features would be of little value to me.

Hello. Im trying to set up my personal home studio. Mostly for solo recording. Im looking for suggestions on how to set it up to its best potential. I have the following gear.

- MXL 2001 Condensor Mic
- Sennheiser Mixing Headphones
- Behringer UB1202 Mixer
- PreSonus Mic Pre
