Hi all:

I need something along the lines of a 20-24 chanell input snake, and a 8-14 chanell input snake, and a 32ch balanced snake to go from my mixer to my patchbay. Any recomendations of what websites to check/who makes the good ones/who makes the crap ones... :D

I'm thinking about snakeing up my optical cables one way or another and am wondering if there's any issues with putting 3 word clock cables in there too.
Anyone have any thoughts?

What should I do? Think about a small home studio. Should I get one of thos live audio snakes with 16 ins and 4 outs or should I build my snake/wallbox myself? How can I make a wallbox? Any ideas? Parts... etc?

I was wandering what is the extra XLR connections on snakes (the ones that has boxes like the wall boxes on the studio). For example, is a 16 channel snake, and there is four more XLR connections named A, B, C, D... :confused:
