The IT guy at work has been looking at me for some advice on recording meetings, I recommended the Zoom H4N (Currently we outsource it). It seems like an idiot proof design that non technical people could use.

He then asked if there was a software that would turn the MP3 Voice recording into text in say word or notepad?

I got a '08 white Macbook used. I'm coming from the PC world and was wondering which recording software will run best on my Macbook.
I need midi, VST (even with audio units work around)I like to use Addictive Drums & Guitar rig. I want something that's stable with few headaches & high quality. :-)

Hi, I'm trying to set my mic up on my pc so I can start messing around with recording. I hooked it up to my old Tascam us-122 and installed the driver software to the computer. Now I'm wondering if there's a free program I can download with which I can record and mix using my little setup.

I just bought superior drummer 2.0 and love it! The only problem that I see is the high hats. They don't sounds realistic. Anyone have any ideas on how to make them sounds more realistic? I have Waves Renaissance for plugins. Should I just buy a high hat and record it?

i am having problems with acid pro 7 because like a dick i clicked the hard drive directory for VST's instead of leaving it as the designated VST folder. so now acid ends up just crashing whilst loading up, i have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it but the same thing happens.

Can anyone recommend a decent yet inexpensive CD Burning software for mac?

Hi, clueless noob here.

Basically, I am doing some sketches involving creating grooves using Band In a Box 12, exporting those tracks as MIDI, then importing them into Garage band. From there, I add some real instrument tracks. Overall, it seems to be working fairly well. I like the BIAB tracks much better than the Apple loops.
