Stereo Mics/ 2 to 8 channel interface
Hey guys. I have a class trying to find a good but affordable pair of stereo microphones and a 2 to 8 channel interface. I'm looking for anything good for instrumental recording for both large ensembles and solo recording. I'm a beginner, so I'd appreciate any help you guys could give me. Thanks

Problems recording in Stereo with new Microphone
Hello everbody. I'll start by saying that it is amazingly difficult to find any help on how to setup and record with a Stereo Microphone. I guess because most people just use regular mics or Stereo Mics are still fairly new. Even specific google searches and popular audio forums seem to have never really had the issue I currently have.
EMT 140 Stereo Plate Reverb Amplifier
Hello. We purchased this EMT 140 Reverb Amplifier at an auction and purchased it "unseen" as it was wrapped and boxed and they would not allow anyone to take off the packing around the boxes to take a look at it. They auctioned it off as "large lot stereo equipment". When we finally found enough strong friends to help load/unload it we got it to the storage unit and saw what it was.

Hello experts.
I would like some advice in stereo recording. I've read the books but I want to ask, out of your own experience, how do you pan tracks recorded using the following stereo techniques?
X/Y
Spaced pair
Blumlein pair
Mid Side
Decca tree
Thank you for your help!

Track sounds great everywhere but car stereos. Please Help
So I've been working on some tracks for awhile now and I was kind of baffled by this. What causes a track to sound crisp and professional on computer speakers/headphones/ipod players/etc and terrible on every car stereo?
RODE NT4 stereo mic for recording musician strings percussion
Hi
I am a 1 man camera crew! (due to budget constraints)
I want to record some musicians(percussion and-or string-guitar) in a small enclosed space( a music store actually).
I was thinking of simply boom mounting a RODE NT4 stereo mic going straight into my Zoom H6.
Opinions? Would a good cardioid mic be a better choice?
