Correct way to connect & record guitar in stereo?
Hi, I need to make a video recording of a solo guitarist, and we want to make the recording in stereo using the chorus and delay pedals. What would be the optimal setup and method for the best quality stereo recording? Guitar will be recorded direct, not with a mic'd amp. Audio will be output from the mixer to the camcorder's XLR inputs (left and right channels)
Stereo imbalance
In the mastering stage of an album created in Logic Pro X I'm finding (listening in cans) that my mixes are slightly tilted over to the right channel. Tracks like vocal and bass appear to be shifted right when in the mix itself they are definitely panned to the center.

Stereo speakers facing each other
I have come across a setup in a medium size House of Worship hall where two sets of stereo speakers are facing each other. The front two facing the congregation and the rear two facing forward from behind the congregation.
Is this likely to result in sound dead spots or is it acceptable if the speakers are phased correctly?
Thanks.

Lopsided stereo file
Hi on the Board,
I am dealing with a track, preparing it for mastering, and actually it doesn't sound too bad but no matter what I do in Logic X to balance the stereo field (by panning instruments) I don't seem to be able to correct a strange asymmetry where peaks (?) reach right to the limits on only one side of the audio file.
Is this an imaging problem?

Can I use stereo speakers with pro audio power head?
I posted in the forum before and received very helpful information so I'm going to give it another go. I have an audio rack with a mixer and other gear. My powerhead is a Peavey DPC-1000. I have a set of 3 way stereo speakers, like the kind that you would hook up to your stereo receiver for home theater. The speakers have the terminals for speaker wire connection.
Mixing after having recorded with a stereo technique: ORTF, XY, NOS, Decca Tree, Blumlein, AB
There are tons of discussions about these stereo techniques (RTF, NOS, XY, Decca tree, Blumlein, AB) but I did not see much with regard to the mix once used them after recording.
