Simple recording setup (suggestions wanted)

THE SKINNY
I have been lurking the forums trying to figure out (to no avail) what hardware would be suitable for a very simple recording project.

I only need to record vocals, piano (from a high-end KORG), and possibly mic'd acoustic guitar. All tracks will be recorded one-at-a-time. Also, I will be using a PC (edit: w/ Audacity) to do this.

Edirol Fa101, Audiophile 410 or Other Suggestions

Hi,

I am checking firewire audio interfaces for my lap top right now and I found Edirol Fa101 and Audiophile 410. Their prices are at the same level and they seem to be able to satisfy my needs. Do anyone have experience on these products? I have also checked Mbox but that one doesn't have the midi inputs. I am open to every suggestion between 400-700 USD price range.

Options/Suggestions

I'm an 18 year old, looking to begin recording myself on a small scale level and a resonably small scale budget. I'd like to start out spending no more than a $1000 or so.

I would primarily be recording guitar(acoustic/electric) and vocal, but also consider recording other instruments in the future (drum kit, keys, random).

Suggestions Welcome (Small Home Studio)

Recently I have decided to make an attempt at coming up with enough equipment to run a small home studio. As of now I am on a fairly tight budget. I currently have several mics and all the computer/I/O hardware that I need. As for mics I have several sm57s, a d112, a pair of AKGC1000s and a Blue Dragonfly. I need suggestions on what I should do for preamps .
