Applying reverb on vocal tracks makes them blur
Hey guys, what's up. Just found out about this forum, and I think it's a great idea :). I'm an amateur audio engineer, and pro musician, and I am facing a little trouble with my vocals mix.
The problem is that after I apply reverb, the vocal lines are hard to understand (unless you read the lyrics that is :) ).

Playing audio/midi tracks live
I hope this is the right forum, if not maybe someone can point me in the right direction.
I'm only researching at this point so I can't tell you what gear I use, because I don't have it yet. But, what I'm hoping to do is record a combination of MIDI and Audio tracks on a computer to be used as backing tracks for live performance. (I perform solo and in a duo).

Record tracks in stereo or mono?
Hi guys, what do you normally do for this? It seems that in all my mixes, even if I pan something 100% to the right, it doesn't sound like it is way over there. Then I listen to a professional song and they just have such a brilliant space that I can't seem to achieve.
Vocals?
Electric Guitar?
Bass? (I imagine yes for this one)
Acoustic Guitar?

Help bouncing tracks with Live
I was wondering if it was possible to mix 2 tracks into 1 using the Live Lite recording program. It only lets you use 4 tracks and am wondering if there is a way to collapse 2 into 1. Thank you.

Rescuing tracks from a non-finalized CDr
I hope the title says it all. I was recently doing a live session when someone (literally) kicked out the plug of an HHB Burn-it CDr machine.

Why do digital tracks clip?
Ok, so if I used an analog mixing board or in an analog recording environment, I can understand how pushing a fader up too high would lead to clipping. Physical components can only take so much of a signal's volume until hitting some kind of breaking point (I don't know the math behind it, but I know it exists).

Merging software MIDI tracks on Mac
Hi, clueless noob here.
Basically, I am doing some sketches involving creating grooves using Band In a Box 12, exporting those tracks as MIDI, then importing them into Garage band. From there, I add some real instrument tracks. Overall, it seems to be working fairly well. I like the BIAB tracks much better than the Apple loops.

Cubase playing recorded audio tracks too soon
Cubase LE. I have been recording on this computer in this project just fine, and then yesterday, whenever I would record something, it would play the clip slightly too soon. Notice I say too "soon" and not too "fast." It's the correct speed and if I nudge it forward a hair, it right in sync, but it's annoying as hell. I haven't been able to google anyone with this issue.
Question about tracks on a CD?
Hey everyone I have a weird question. I have this guy who gave me a CD that he recorded years ago. He would like me to make copy's of the CD. That part of it is not the problem I'm having. There are 5 tracks on the CD with no spaces in between any of the tracks, but you can access each track individually.
