Not sure if this has been discussed much amongst you all. I had a video sent to me from a blog I follow, recording revolution. While I don't agree with everything Graham has said since I followed him, this topic does make me wonder.

If you are using a DSD production workflow, what equipment are you using, what have been your experiences, what needs to be done to make this workflow as easy (if possible) compared to PCM workflow?

How much does headphone bleed concern you?

A folk group I was mixing months back had an upper freq problem that drove me nuts. After listening for hours, trying to de-ess but at the same time trouble shoot for the sake of "next time they go into the studio!" it will be better than this mess!

I have been a lurker on this forum for a while, and got some great info from the forum, so thank for that. This is my first post.

I have never tracked an upright bass before.

What are the best type of mics to use on it, and what would the placement/set up be? It has a pick up as well so I can also get a DI/Amp signal to mix in with the mic'd track/s

I'm looking for a pair of budget tracking headphones and have a budget of up to £50. Ideally I would like something with a replaceable lead.
I've done quite a bit of research and come up with the following models :-

Monoprice 8323 - £15
Superlux HD669 - £24
Superlux HD661 - £24
Superlux HD631 DJ - £36

I'm looking at a 42 channel Neve for my studio,price is very reasonable for a Neve.I realize this console is designed for broadcast.Having no automation means it's crippled in a mixdown situation,but is there a possibility of adding Necam,or Flying faders?Hows the mix bus?How do the pres and EQs sound compared to other used boards in the 10-15 grand range.would I be better off buying a new Alle

My current situation is that I have a combined mix/tracking room in my basement. I've put in a lot of bass traps and diffusion (mostly under the guidance of people on this forum) and the result is a fairly neutral sounding (as opposed to "good sounding") tracking room. I get good vocals and acoustic instruments. Drums are ... not terrible.

I am multi tracking with a zoom r16 and I have recorded drums and ssome guide guitar.
