I have a 2011 macbook pro and am looking for an interface to use, opinions on best value with phantom power for inputs?

I've heard to stay away from prosonus and m-audio is OK but not much else, and advice will be helpful.
For use with an SM58 for vocals.
Also for recording guitar.

Is it possible to record multiple separated tracks live with Logic or Ableton using this?

The fact is that I use to make live performances with many synths and I would like to record each on a individual track at the same time. I know that I could use a MOTU or other sound card but the mixer sounds good and it is more afordable.

Any suggestions? I only need it for one thing and that is have an input for my Turntable, nothing else.

I just picked up my samsonC03 today. I havent gotten to play with it yet because I've been pretty busy. However, I was over at my buddies house and we tried to set it up real quick to try it out. Well we plugged it into my interface via XLR and I hit the power on switch for my +48V Phantom power on my interface.
