I need a little help.
So I believe that with the http://www.PreSonus… PreSonus[/]="http://www.PreSonus… PreSonus[/] AudioBox USB you can record two tracks at once. Is that correct? For instance if I plug my keyboard into one input and my microphone in another could I record them both at the same time?
The other question I have is if I wanted to layer tracks would I be able to plug my iPod earbuds into my computer after I recorded my keyboard so that I could than record vocals with my microphone attached to the AudioBox without capturing the keyboard playback?
The reason I ask is because I don’t have monitors or a pair of headphones that I’d be able to connect directly to the PreSonus AudioBox USB, so I’d probably just output everything from the AudioBox through the speakers built into my laptop.

Yes, with a suitable audio recording program you could record two separate tracks at the same time via the AudioBox USB. Don't use the laptop audio card and its speakers.
You should be able to use your earbuds in the headphone output of the AudioBox, but you may need a 1/4" to 3.5mm jack adaptor. Use the Mix control on the front panel of the AudioBox to blend the replayed tracks with what you are recording now.
The thing you ought to put a bit of thought into is what audio software to use. For only two recording tracks at a time you could get away with using a free program such as Audacity, but you would be better off with the low-cost Reaper. There are many others to choose from depending on the facilities you need and how much you want to spend.
