What mic would be the best male voice?
Hello everybody ! I am new on this site. At the moment I would like to have some full advice about which of these studio microphones is the best (for a male voice that could be compared to Elvis', Sinatra's. )
1/ AKG C 400 B
2/ AT 3060
3/ StudioProjects TB1
Thank you in advance...
Peter

Voice-overs – Most commonly used mic/gear?
For broadcast radio/television voice-overs, what is the most widely used microphone(s)…
Also what is the de facto recording chain (pre/mic/comp/eq >> tape/hard drive, etc) – specifically, what pieces of gear/hardware/software….
Thanks –
JAB

TC Helicon Voice Prism
Has anyone used the TC Helicon Voice Prism? I have been to their official website (quite a while ago), and I have seen a hand full of rave reviews, but I'd like to see what you guys think.
Briefly, it's a voice processor with lots of cool bells and whistles. It apparently does it's job better than other similar tools. It's fairly portable so it can be used live or in the studio.

close up voice guitar
hi all i,m recording close up vocals and acoustic guitar together and was thinking of hiring a u47 for this .It,s a sweet sounding mail voice that is so much part of the guitar that any separation spoils it .i,m getting a nice feel with an oktava mkl2500 but i thought maybe a good u47 would be the business cheers for any inspiration julian

Vocal mic playing piano
Price is not an object! I sing my songs and record a steinway grand piano all the time. I feel that it is time for a magor upgrade in quality. I know preamps are just as important but I think I have that covered or at least enough to experiment with a nice microphone. Any suggestions.
