Which one do you perfer? Modded MXL V67 vs AT4033 (wav samples)

I did this little shootout the other day to see which one I liked better on my vocal. To me, it's not so clear cut. There are things I like about both of them. There is one I'm leaning toward, but I would really appreciate some input from anyone. Both were recorded on the same take, and aside from an 80hz high pass filter, there is absolutely no eq on either.

Advice on DAW software (WAV editing/mixing) to run on Win-7 x64 ?

Hello,
I've been using with very great satisfaction Syntrillium CoolEdit 2000 for a long time, but now that for other reasons I changed my hardware platform and adopted Windows-7 x64, this software is not compatible any more.
Though I could run it with the "XP-Mode" virtualization, I'd prefer to direct myself to a newer software.

Help requested: 4-channel WAV format

I recorded a concert with 4 mics to a EDIROL R-44. While I meant to record the session as 4xmono, I inadvertently selected 4-channel WAV as the record mode. I am now stuck with this file format which is not very common. What software can import this WAV file format. Is it still possible to decompose this single wav file into the four original channels so I can produce a stereo wav file.

So what equipment do I need for this?

Need a free 20khz+ wav sample

i need a wav sample above 20khz. it needs to be unaudible to human ears.

its for a project that involves making a skull head move its jaw to the wav forms in a DAW. however i can get the results i am trying to without blasting the track. so I'm thinking if i have a track that can be blasted and still not heard, it may work.

How do I import .aiff or .wav files from Cubase to PT8?

recently I have been recording music with a friend and we started our recording process in Cubase 2. Since Cubase can't export .OMF we tried exporting each track individually as a .wav and as an .aiff and used a flash drive to transfer it to my computer to mix on Pro Tools. When I tried to import the audio Pro Tools told me it can't recognize the audio.

Wav file is distorted please help!

Hi. I was mixing some files in Adobe Audition 3 as 1 long wav file. I finished the mix and it sounds awful. It sounded good when I first mixed it, but now it sounds as if it is distorted. I think I saved it as the wrong file. Microsoft ADPCM Wav file. What can I do to fix the mix to make it sound good? I am screwed. Do I have to start the mix all over again?
