Hi everyone! I've been pulling my hair out for hours trying to get a good radio/podcast sound from a Behringer Xenyx 802/1002 (I own both) going into a Zoom h4n. (I'm using a Heil PR40 XLR to the Behringer.)

It wasn't that long ago that I was happy to get a digital audio recorder (Marantz PMD620) for $250. Now the Zoom H1 is selling for $99 in most electronics stores, like U.S. BestBuy.com Admittedly, you have to buy the $25 accessory kit to get an AC adaptor, which may not be a necessity given the 10 hour stated life of the single AA battery that powers it.

I just bought one, can't figure out how to get the damn thing to work as an interface, I followed the instructions exactly included with the thing,
Here's the catch though,
I want to use BOTH of my audio interfaces, I have a Roland edirol UA-101, and the zoom R16, I want to use the zoom as the control surface and for more tracks...

I've spent about six hours on something that should be really simple, and I'm getting close to throwing this Zoom H4N out the window.

I'm using a Zoom H4N I just purchased for field recording for a documentary. I've installed the software on my 2 macs (desktop + laptop), both operating on 10.4.11.

so I just got a Zoom H4N but so far every recording I make through the h4n into Cubase just sounds choppy and skips around. It sounds perfect through the headphones as I record but as I listen back it doesn't sound right. I don't understand what the problem is. I haven't done much recording before and I have never had this problem.

I'm looking for a Portable Multitrack Recorder which is base on SD Card recording media.
R16 from Zoom seems cool and it do have a "plus",c'ld be the Post production controller...
Any of you using this cool stuff? need your reviews while use on Logic and On Live Recording..
