Okay, I'm gonna let my youth talk. I'm fresh out of college where I read book after book and went to class with kids who lived in their own little Utopia. Hang with me for a sec:
In a perfect world, with the people I read in these forums, I think that SOUND would sell products. Now if Digi Released say, this new HD line with compatability to hook our now "older" interfaces to the new cards BUT also released new Interfaces that blew the "old" (888s, etc) and the Apogees and everything out of the water, or even gave a noticeable edge, I think this whole atmosphere would be a lot different right now. Consumer attitude would be a bit more positive AND because everybody around here seems to be after GREAT SOUND, Digi would be selling new interfaces like it was water in the desert. Right? You make a great product, it will sell. RIGHT? Maybe I'm dreamin...if so then I understand why we need to be pushed into a little corner before we'll buy new gear. I will continue to be a loyal PT user, maybe I'm part of what some might consider a problem. They know that anywhere they go, I'll follow. I love my Pro Tools! No..really I do!

Overall, I have been very happy with my dealings with Digidesign. I'm not "dissin" anybody. Just an idea. "Wake up kid!"
