DogsoverLava thanks for the in depth review.
Yes the vocals are a bit unintelligible.
I think its because the singer is not from an english country.
this is the best performance that we had so I just worked with it.
My hands are kinda tied in that area coz ive tried it without effects but its still the same :)
Thanks for the link. watching it as we speak and its really very eductaional. super thanks :)
pcrecord thanks also for the straight forward comment. I really needed those :)
heres a newer mix. I've tried to tame the drums for the vocals to come up a bit and reduced some gain on the distorted parts
hows it doing?

Vocals are a bit low in the mix and unintelligible in the first half of the song to the point where I'm not even sure what the language it is because they are so saturated with the vocal effects you are using. Do you want them to be heard or are they word sounds? I'd strip everything off them effect wise at this point then rebuild them concentrating on getting some clarity in the lyrics. I know some of the fidelity is lost from the compression to MP3 but there just seems to be a lack of clarity and fidelity of any kind on them.
As for the genre - there's a youtube guy who does great mixes in this vein from Norway https://www.youtube.com/user/leolego/videos
I'd listen to a few of his mixes and see how he handles things for reference.
I'm sure others can help you more than I can.
