Here's a song about a stripper that was dating an ex-guitar player friend of mine. Please check for proper balances. The higher numbered track is the most recent mix.

It's reminiscent of the big-hair band/sunset strip sound of the 80's; kinda the Motley Crue "Girls" thing... although yours is more musically and rhythmically complex than anything any of those three-chord wonder bands could have done ...or had been capable of. ;)

Still, it's kinda dated... I don't know if that bothers you or not, or if this was something you were intentionally setting out for.

Some of the rhythmic change-ups don't seem to be as locked down and tight as they perhaps should be; you've got some cool riffs in there, but at times they're kinda "loose".

Sonically, this sounds similar to your other songs; the drums sound too compressed to me, and not as "open" as I personally like them to sound; but that's just my opinion, again, this might be the sound you are after.

I'm also not crazy about the hard panning between the lead guitar and the synth solo in the center section; I don't mind hearing these things panned a bit off-center, but you've got them pretty wide right now, thrown out hard in either direction, and to my ears, it's distracting. You might want to consider tightening up the stereo field on those two instruments and then adding delay or verb to each, and then throwing the effect from one to the other side and vice versa; this could result in a nicer stereo imaging as opposed to the hard 3 and 9 o'clock thing you have happening right now.

That's about all I've got, I think if this had been released in 1987 you'd probably have had a hit, ;)

IMHO of course.

Thanks, Donny. Yea, I was going for a VH thing, with a dash of Frank Zappa.
Someone from another site said my bass guitar sub info was too up in the mix, so I backed off on that, and brought the guitars up a bit.
I also put the lead guitar and synth solos in from far right R + L
