If you're just doing video then it probably doesnt matter which card to get...as long as it'a PCI card you should be all set with no issues. The only issue I know of with PCI Firewire cards are with th MOTU 828..you need to have the Texas Instrument chipset card and not any other chipset on it...I guess it all depends on the driver for the card as well. Talk to a computer store and see if they know of any issues with firewire cards and video input
