Has anyone here worked with this? I just got it and have been playing around with it, but trying to figure out what's what, and how to maximize performance. When I finish recording all the tracks and go back and adjust volumes of the tracks to balance them, it will save with my final settings right? Not with what the initial input volumes?
Also is there a way to adjust the gains in the program after it's recorded to improve balance or do I have to adjust as I record like I do with live performances? I'm not used to recording digitally, and have only run live sound, but that was years ago. Any tips from the pros would be appreciated (especially now that I figured out my first quandry with importing tracks haha!)
The online guid is limited and doesn't really answer the questions I have thus far (unless of course I'm missing it).

I see the ability to adjust the volume but that just seems to do it for the overall track and does not record the changes so that one phrase may be balanced differently than another. Will I need to lay separate tracks to have that sort of control?

Are you using ProTools or what DAW program? If so, once the audio is recorded you can switch to a mixer view to adjust volumes and pan etc.
