will you recommend the above Phonic Helix for Home Studio use as Multitrack Audio Interface Device for Vocal and Instrument recording?

No.

For home studio use, you don't need a mixer, especially one of this quality. Your money would be better spent on a multi-channel audio interface and DAW software. Use the DAW software for tracking and then for mixing and applying EQ and effects.

Come back to us for recommendations of hardware and software once you have told us what your budget is.

Hey Boswell...

Thanks for help!!!

I wish to make things clear before set a budget for home studio gear.
Why i w'ld love to grab a Firewire Mixer, that's because of i c'ld able to do some control on it like
1) Input thru Firewire c'ld be an Audio Interface
2) Main Out put control on Studio Monitor (KRK Rockit)
3) Headphone control
and so on...

I'm using Mac & Logic...

So, will the Firewire or USB Mixer better choice compare to grab everything individual? Of cause when talk bout use for Home Studio it's all bout less token and high quality if possible!! :D
