Well I go with the L2 into the Genelecs and the loudness blow me away. I have to turn the output down to listen to the music but I can't record over the digital outpu of course cause the signal is too low.
What shall I do?

I can turn the monitors down to -6 dbs but it's still loud.
The Finalizer's got for example an analog output but the L-2

Desk > L2 > preamp to control the volume to the speakers. So the L2 would feed both your preamp and you 2track master. ideally you would be able to switch between the output of your L2 and 2 track in your preamp. If your using a conventional console, it has a preamp built into it. If your using just the output of your workstation, you will need to purchase a preamp that has several inputs.
