i love this site... ive been reading it for a while and finally have a question i couldnt find an answer through by surfing through it. here it goes...

I'm going to be recording some electric guitars (space-rock, heavy toned) through an all tube Orange combo (50watts class A). If you familair with the Orange sound; its very different and colored. Has the potential to really cut through a mix wile having a huge growl. I was wondering if anyone has and thoughts on mic choices or techniques. My microphone arsenal right now is pretty sparse but i have access to virtually anything i need (as long as its not to rare)...

Any thoughts on good preamps for recording guitars as well?
