Hello my friend
I remember you always commenting I should buy the best set of monitors I could afford.

I have just bought the Pendulum OCL2, the 192 I/o which has built in SRC, a PT HD2 Accel system.
a)Monitors:
I am considering the Dynaudio Air6 Active. There is a top brazilian mastering engineer who loves it and use it daily, even for 5.1.
Do you think it will be fine, and much better than a pair of BM6As, BM5As?

b)converters:
at the moment, I do mostly ITB with TC and PSP Plugins ( Neon HR, etc). I have the 02R96k here.
Do you think that the Mytek box which has a/d d/a and master clock will do fine?
Should I go with Apogee?

I have heard that Lavry blue does some spacial magic in headroom, over conventional Zero db. Is it true?
Thanks in advance

Alecio,
these questions a subjective. What one guy likes and uses may not be right for you. I generally don't like active monitors. I like to pick and choose my amps to get the sound i'm looking for. And depending on the room, preference and monitors, that can change what you need. listening to a pair will tell you if they are better than what you have, but listen to many other options too, better may not be good enough. If you are going to lay down the $$$, don't just get a little better, buy as much as you can afford.

converters are the same, depends on what you need and the gear in your chain. I have a couple of options to pick from depending on what I'm looking to accomplish. sometimes I want color and will reach for the apogee's, sometimes I don't. you do want a good clean transparent converter for monitoring. for the other stuff, you may find that one is more to your liking than the other.
