Hi Everyone,

Got a question for the pro audio folks. I've got a few 4 track (Tascam Porta 7) recordings from the 80s that I am now bringing into Pro Tools track by track and attempting to remaster. One thing that I've noticed is that depending on the tape, some tracks are noisy. Is it possible to clean up digitally unwanted noise that the Dolby filters do not catch? If so, what would you recommend? My major problem is with drums as there is hissing and static in one of the tracks that I truly cherish.

Thanks!

Best,

Ze
