I JUST GOT A JOE MEEK VC3, AND WHENEVER I TURN ON THE PHANTOM POWER, I GET A LOT OF HUM AND HISS. IS THIS DUE TO THE CRAPPY WAL-WART POWER SUPPLY THAT CAME WITH IT? I HEARD THAT SOMEONE WAS EXPERIENCING THE SAME CONFLICT AND THEY PURCHASED A ROLLS PS-12 POWER SUPPLY AND IT MADE THE SIGNAL MORE QUIETER. PLEASE HELP, THANKS.

Hey tha sun god, PLEASE HELP! is NOT an acceptable title description. Here is this forum, you need be specific in your title description in the future or you will not only not get much help but you may also find your postings deleted. Being specific not only lets those who are interested know what the posting subject is but helps those using the search engine find what they are looking for easier.

Some suggestions...

1. Call the store and ask them to replace it.

2. Call the manufacturer and ask them to replace it.

3. Turn off caps lock.

hmmm, not sure what you expected. It's a pretty basic question with a simple answer which David provided. I would have told you that the best that Joe Meek would ever sound was when it hit the dumpster or was being run over by a semi but then you wouldn't have liked that either would you? My advice is get a Neve and a LA2a and Turn off caps lock.
