Hi everybody !
Now I've got a new problem for you to solve !
Let's say I have a 4 track recording of some drumming and i want to use some compressors, EQ's or just an effect on the whole kit(the 4 tracks), what should I do ( in Logic Express) ?

Can I in some way pack the tracks in a folder and apply the effects to the folder track, and in that way affect all the tracks at the sam time ?

Sending/routing every single channel to one bus channel doesn't seem to work, because the separate tracks are still playing !

Hope you can help me !

Hi marsvolta-

Your explantion makes me think you might be using the sends vs the actual channel output path to route to the bus...

When you route the channel to the bus you should do so by changing the channel's OUTPUT to the bus instead of the mixers MAINs output. This forces all signal (except other sends etc) for that channel to go through the bus first then on to the MAIN's

Don't use the SEND on the channel as that is just additional signal being split off and sent to the bus leaving the channel still playing through the MAINs output.

Of course you can use the sends for many other cool reasons such as blending effects etc but if I understand you correctly that is not what you want to do...

Best regards-
