I've done a search for this topic in this forum and many others, but I have yet to find anything that pertained to my particular situation. Up until this point, I've been self taught via books/manuals and forums. I hope this question isn't too ignorant.

I just purchased an Avalon 747 and Apogee Rosetta AD. I have the DA7 digital mixer and the MOTU 2408 MKII. That is going firewire to my Cubase SX DAW set-up.

What I'd like to have happen is, after I've sequenced (via midi) all the parts of a song, I'd like to run all the individual parts through the newly purchased pieces as it's going into the DAW. I'm thinking that I can have the Avalon going across all channels of the DA7 (w/o having to patch each keyboard one at a time), then the out of the Avalon going into the Rosetta, and then the Rosetta going into the MOTU MKII via S/PDIF.

Does this sound feasible or am I missing something here? I hope someone can assist with this particular scenario. BTW, I do have a Focusrite Platinum mic preamp that I use.

Thanking you in advance for your assistance!

All channels of the DA7 are sent to stereo Left and Right analog outs, which uou plug into the 747. Outputs of the 747 are then plugged into the Rosetta analog inputs. The Rosetta digital SPDIF out is then plugged into the MOTU SPDIF in as you re-record the new stereo file.

Understand that you will no longer have separate tracks of keyboards but a stereo mix instead. Of course you could also do this same trick one pair at a time.
