This song is a little more "hard edge" than my usual stuff with double kick. Please give a critique. The higher numbered track is the most recent mix.

the cymbals sound a little thin and tinny...and a little more bottom end would be nice overall

the guitar, especially the lead at 1:40 sounds a like it could be a little more dominant and upfront

- but thats just my personal taste, how I'm hearing it through my krk rokit 5 ' nearfields

I like the groove of it(y)

Agree - we need louder guitars so they drive the song more with more balls to them. You've got a few options here - You could go for screaming for vengeance era priest -- (this is a little more turbo era than screaming) , or you could go faith hope love/Dogman era Kings X -- for a neat contrast -- with this vocalist you've got all kinds of options but he needs more power behind him.

Loving this for what it is - and at this point I'd cautiously suggest the following. It's hard to hear the enunciation on the vocals. I like the vocal effect (it's got elements of Ozzy/Priest in the vocal effect) I like that for this music very much - but it does seem to round out the articulation of the vocal to make it harder to get the words. Is there something you can do or not do to enhance the articulation but still leave that general effect? I defer to the expertise on the board particularly the discussion not too long ago about vocal articulation -- that's the only element that I'm looking for improvement on here as a listener.
