i don't think you would run into a problem.

What SW are you using to burn?

Do both drives read the same type of disks? Macs currently only support '-' , that may change, but just make sure the PC drive reads '-' and you're set.

Have you considered networking the two machines?
It's the easiest way to go unless, of course, they are in two different locations ...

Another plus is that the Mac's ethernet port is self-configuring. Meaning, you can just run a Cat 5 cable between the two machines and you have a network. No hubs, routers, switches, etc. to buy. You don't even need a crossover cable.

If they're not co-located, it could still be done, but then transfer rate would suffer, both computers need to have broadband, you need to set up an FTP server on one computer or the other, etc....

Check your format options, you should be able to burn a hybrid PC/Mac data disk.

Thanks folks. The two computers are not in the same place and its a one off so thanks anyway mitz.

I came across a great way of moving stuff across two macs with a firewire cable: Connect the cable. Boot up the macine you want to transfer FROM whilst holding "T" down (for target). The desktop of the target then appears on the other machines desktop and you can grab whatever you want. Quick and easy.

Don't know if this works between PC's or Mac to PC though...

Nope its mac to mac only, and your target mac has to be a B&W or newer, IIRC. Anyone want to correct me on that?
