If anyone does these updates/drivers just a little warning...for some reason it screwed up my paging file..keep getting a warning that the paging file doesnt exist or may be larger than you set due to windows creating a temp page file due to not finding a paging file?!!!!
So, I'm redoing my system and going to see if adding these drivers first will solve it..
I shall let you all know how it goes

Dont do the UltraATA storage driver!! This is causing the system to ignore or disable the paging file!! That is bad!! Very bad indeed!!!
The Chipset INF and the Intel Application Accelerator seem fine and do not cause any system failures...which is a good thing of course!
As far as performance differences..faster boot up indeed..I went from 1 minute 10 seconds to just under 45 seconds!!! Not too shabby there! I'm sure it would be quicker if I didnt have the SCSI card in there as well..

Just got back from a wonderful system crash! :p

The intel chipset driver install had a major prob with a piece of hardware(sound card?) and rebooted in the middle of writing to the NT folder, f*k'in up the system (it was the agp400 file). Got it all back and the IAA ver 2 installed OK, I'm not trying that chipset driver again LOL!

The chipset driver worked fine for me...it was that storage driver that screwed mine up...ahh, got to love Norton Ghost! Back up and running in 5-10 minutes!
I'm just wondering why Sandra is reporting my hard drive to be slow? My Secondary specs out good but not the main drive?! I'm going to check out some other benchmarking programs..I think it was teddancin that had a good one and he posted a link somewhere...Man, I really nedd to do the FAQ's for dis shit man...Soon enough!

OK, I figured out the reason for the crash. I had an alpha driver installed for my sound card that always gave a shutdown and/removal problem. The chipset driver utility unloads drivers while it writes to the system folder, hence the crash and burn. The new driver for the soundcard was made available today!(after I was screwing around,geez if I had waited one more day)
Anywhoo, the chipset utility worked great, and I followed it with the application accelerator, works betterer now,uh,yeah, better. :D
The removable drive bay with the backup OS made things easier, I'll have to try Norton Ghost sometime.
