The MusicXP.net & Opus tweak guides both mention chipset drivers yet when I go to intel.com the only chipset drivers they have are listed as for developers and they say to go the mobo manufactorer. When I got to asus.com the only downloads they have are for display driver, audio driver, bios update, a usb update(only necessary without service pack 1), aflash.exe, asus probe, asus update installer. But no chipset drivers.

Opus did you find chipset driers for the P4B533V?

Also, what the heck is ASUS Update Installer? It doesn't have a readme.

Dude....INF file updaters they are called....for each specific chipset there is an INF file...which is the driver so to speak...there are no INF files for an Asus board...you will need to find the desired chipset you have(IF YOU NEED IT)and then find the chipset driver INF file...I don't currently see one for the 845G...then again I haven't looked that hard...

DO NOT USE THE INTEL APPLICATION ACCELERATOR...
Dug...all these answers are here in these forums...search around a little before posting ok? We've discussed this till no end before...the IAA doesn't give you any performance boost noe help anything...it only slows things down and prevents you from changing any settings like write cache or PIO vs DMA mode...
If you find the INF file for the 845G...that's all you need...why you need it I don't know..Asus has all the files you need right on the CD when you get it.
