I have a boss DDR550 MK2 and was wondering if I can hook up the drum machine to the computer with just a midi in. It has no midi out. And if so what is the best and cheapest way to do this.

I ask because you can hook it up...MIDI out of the computer to the MIDI in on the DDR550 and let the computer control the drum machine.
If you want to do something like getting the MIDI data from the drum machine into the comptuer that can't be done since the drum machine doesn't have a MIDI out.
There are lots of USB / MIDI adapters available. Any one should do what you need.
