I have noticed an increase in complaints concerning mp3.com recently. They have re-vamped their process, and everything now is more confusing and takes longer. I attribute this (I'm guessing here) to a combination of increasing submissions and cuts in staff.

Let's be pro-active, and help each other work through these problems. I tore my hair out getting my site up, but it was worth it, because it's a free web presence and a powerful marketing tool. I print the link on my business cards and include it on my email tag, and peeps get to see and hear what I do. It's one of those "It's what you make of it" deals.

So, what specifically are any of you having trouble with? Let's share our experiences, and share solutions as well.

Problems with MP3.COM...... Where do I start?.....
Well basically I can't get anything up there.
I get to step 3 of the upload sequence (browsing for the file to upload) I find the file, click the upload button and I get a web page not available screen. I know I'm not the only one having this exact problem. The entire process is very confusing. I've sent them emails and posted messages on the board but the only thing I've had back is a message saying make sure your mp3 files don't have ID tags, and something about VBR vs CBR. I've got no idea what any of this is. I use "Audioactive Production Studio" to create my MP3s and there's nothing in that software that even mentions those things.
Any clues?
