Hi all,

I've been looking at the Pod series of audio interfaces. For example the Pod 2.0. I'm wanting a guitar amp simulation device and quality effects.

While I have found several review and comments on the Pod's amp simulation I have not heard much on the effects. Are the chorus and delay effect on par with say the Boss pedals? As far audio quality, range of settings? Are the delay settings limited to "tap"? Overall - any users out there - how satisfied are you with the Pod effects?

Additional question - my Line6 Spider IV amp has a record out jack - considering that it shares some of the same effect [names] as the Pod - would I get comparable effects and sound using the amp's record out as the Pod series interfaces?

Thanks for any thoughts on this!

Line 6 effects are Line 6 effects I have not noticed a discernible difference with the software vs the amps. I have not used the amp to record with however, I do remember a thread here about the record out on these amps really being a headphone jack type of arrangement and there being some disatisfaction with that as a recording chain.
