OK, first off I wish I would've known about this forum before I started buying equipment/software but...
Specs: Hardware
Gateway Laptop PT4 HT, 512 MB RAM 100 GB 4200 RPM HD(like I said, wish I would've known)
300 GB External HD 7200 RPM, PreSonus' TubPre and Comp16, Casio MIDI keyboard, Shure KSM27 and Samson C01 condeser mics, and Lexicon Pro Omega
Software: FL Studio Pro.., Cubase LE (bundle with Omega), and Screenblast SoundForge 7. Now how I put it altogether... SoundForge to create samples, FL to create tracks, and Cubase (hopfully) for Vocals and live instruments. *whew*
Here's the questions. I've recorded in FL but I keep hearing about how Cubase is good for vocals because of the effects, is it worth upgrading, keep this version, or continue with FL? BTW I plan to ReWire FL to Cubase. More questions ahead but I'll leave it at that.
