I tried searching about this, but couldn't quite find what I was looking for. I've set up my monitors on stands now, but I'm concerned that the two computer screens are too far forward.

The monitors are 49" apart and 49" to the back of my head at the listening position. The front of the screens are about 4" in front of the center of the horizontal center of the monitors. Do I need to move anything, e.g., the monitors further apart or the computer screens back (which requires building a little shelf or something behind the countertop)?
