I will be making a soundtrack eventually for a friend of mines novel and hope to connect with a few people to help me a little with the mixing processes. I have recorded and made mixes that sound good to me but I wasn't taking the mixing/mastering process seriously. For 3 months now all I have been doing is reading and applying and researching and trying the mixing and mastering only to be frustrated and confused in the end. I just kinda need an uplift and maybe some additional words of wisdom about compression and when not to compress. and maybe a bit of a better idea on how to determine if a recording is so crappy that it should be redone. I guess maybe I should figure out how to post my songs here so people can listen and critique a bit which would a great help just to see that my efforts have not been in vain lol. Thanks for your guys time. Any help is very appreciated.

It's almost midnight going into June 13. It only takes a few minutes to post your music on Sound Cloud. Where is it? It doesn't take as long even with a dial up. Then your computer should be able to take your uncompressed waves and give you an MP3 in mere seconds. So get to work LOL. What are we paying you for?

I bet you've never made this much money in your life at this? I'll even throw in a quarter. A few of those and you can get a bottle of wine.

Boone's Farm! The Apple Wine, of Formaldehyde Champions! Too bad I didn't keep a few bottles of those in the wine rack. I'd look better after I die.
