Okay, this kinda fits in this thread since this site uses acoustic music to "heal" people. (Don't take this as my discounting of music as a healing power - I believe it is, just read the site though and try to keep from peeing yourself with laughter.)

Check out some of the technical details. You'll have a blast.

BTW, the recordins that they sell list for $50 - $70 a piece. A fact you'll have a hard time finding on their site.

The site is:

Enjoy!

yeah, it's worth a chuckle. I did click on one of the CD listings, and it started to download an Adobe page for me. (I HATE when that happens... C'mon; take the time to create a damn web page, make it fast enough and detailed enough to give me what I need, not making ME wait for a ridiculously oversized document to come through!!! ....grrrr)

In any case, it did make me wonder...looks like someone with a "Big" idea in a startup situation, trying to look like more than they really are. All kinds of vague, evasive, not-quite "There" concepts. You can explain it away as protecting their proprietary product before they get your $, or you can see it as just plain ol' BS. I sure wouldn't spent my $$$ on that. I think they're looking to sell/train "certified" workers on one end of the deal, and sell CDs to the other end. They still look like they're in serious "Startup" Mode right now, assuming it'll go anywhere at all.

I do like the idea of "music as healing", but I don't think it can be targeted and programmed the way they're saying it is. IMHO, of course. It (Music) is too many things to too many people for it to work the way they say it does, but who knows...maybe just the will to WANT it to work will make their product help you.

I think I can get the same results by taking the phone off the hook, unplugging the computer, lowering the shades, and well....add your own favorite personal indulgences here, with your favorite "Desert Island Discs" and you've got the makings of a really fine afternoon or evening escape. Taking the TIME to do it is much harder than paying $40 a disc for something you can easily do yourself. IMHO, anyway.
