I am interestin about FX16 but I need to know is the each channel direct out can work with the EQ and Gain?I know some mixer can't do this. Is FX16 can do ?

If you go to google.com, and type in "Soundcraft FX16", the very first result takes you to the Soundcraft website with the FX16 spec page.

In the second paragraph, you get the following information:

FX16's 16 Direct Outs are individually fader pre-post switchable so they are equally useful for recording in the studio or at a gig.

You may want to try this technique yourself. Most manufacturers have all their specs online now.

You didn't really answer his question, Joe.

As far as I can tell by checking out the block diagram provided on the website the direct out on this mixer is post EQ regardless of the position of the pre/post fader switch.

So Alyi, to answer more directly, yes. When using the direct output you will have control over the gain(pre-amp) and EQ.
