My friend already has a few songs complete, and now we are trying to bring the audio into the computer on separate tracks to mix it properly. We are going to re-record the vocals.

We are working with:
The blue Korg Electribe MX (sounds and drum machine)

The Korg D1600 (digital recorder)
http://www.Korg.com/gear/info.asp?A_PROD_NO=D1600

I also have an Echo MiaMidi sound card.

Question #1:

What is the best way to get all the drum sounds recorded on separate tracks from the Electribe, to the computer software (Pro Tools etc)? IE hi-hat on separate track, snare on separate track, bass drum on separate track.

Question #2:

The D1600 does not have a USB or firewire port unfortunately. So how do we transfer to the computer? There is burning everything to CD, which will take a LONG time with everything he has stored on there. The 40gb drive is just about full and he may buy a new one.
I saw something about copying to the clipboard and using an external drive?

He is thinking about buying an Mbox with Pro Tools, which I wonder if we even need or is the best option. (The new stuff we will be doing is guitar and bass guitar, and we have a new drummer that should be playing soon)
